Whatever major project you’re trying to accomplish in life—whether writing and publishing your first romance novel, creating and then following the best retirement plan for you and your spouse, or any project that has arrested your full attention at the moment—maintaining a genuinely serious commitment to the hard work ahead will be paramount.
But be sure to count the costs first; they will most likely affect those things closest to you—including your family, finances, resources, and time—before you jump into anything significant. In so doing, you will maintain a healthy perspective on what will be required of you to succeed.
And there will be folks, no matter how close they are to you, who will not fully understand what you’re going through to reach the end of a dream that you may have nurtured inside your spirit for a very long time. Now, this should be understandable, as no one can walk in your shoes. Every attempt to accomplish something amazing will always be unique to you. Therefore, be patient with them.
Most of all, my fellow dreamer or problem solver, find solace in your delayed gratification and the wisdom and counsel of fellow experts and loved ones. You should not feel alone in your efforts. God WILL bring other people into your life to assist in ways only they can. So, banish your pride. Sometimes it takes a village, or a tiny tribe, of honest, concerned supporters to push you across that sacred finish line!
You CAN conquer your project!
“The Lord himself will lead you and be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you, so do not lose courage or be afraid.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 GNT)
