The BIG Ask!

Hello friends, fellow writers, and sojourners! I have a BIG ask of you. With my editor’s notes in hand, I have begun rewriting my novel, Champagne Waves & Sailing Ships (Fiction/Romance). Would you be so kind as to pray for me to stay dedicated to this project?

The Apostle Paul wrote, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV)

I don’t want to waver or take shortcuts, but to remain diligent, focused, and committed to the end. I want to put my very best foot forward on my debut novel, as there are no second chances at making an excellent first impression with potential readers. I want to maintain my artistic integrity, honoring God and my dream of becoming a published author. Also, I pray that my passion will only increase as I move towards publication sometime in late fall.

You see, I believe in the power of prayer, and that’s why I’m appealing to you. This is the moment I’ve been waiting for since I was 16 years old. So, it’s time I got ‘er done. Book 2 in this series has already begun knocking on my door.
