Come, Walk Awhile With Me on The Beach

Welcome to my website and the introduction of my romance fiction series, The Golden Slide! Please remove your shoes so you can snuggle the warm Atlantic Ocean and the light brown sand between your toes as we ramble down the beach.

Book One of the series, Champagne Waves and Sailing Ships, is on its way to publication. It will set the tone for every book that follows. In today’s blog, I’d like to share the first of three goals I’ll interweave in my writing throughout this series. I encourage my beloved readers to partner with my main characters as they struggle with finding love, and ultimately discover that ONE special relationship that leads them to believe:

 – Their best is yet to come in life! Yes, it’s on their horizons, waiting for them to realize it, embrace it, regardless of their age or life circumstances, as if it’s been hiding in plain sight all along, like a beautiful seashell washed up on an enchanting shoreline at the same time they happen by. They’ll bend over, pick it up, and take it home to treasure!

Do you believe this is true in your life? Do you wake up expecting this day to be better than yesterday, and that tomorrow will be better than today? Or do you wake up half-hoping you’ll have a blessed day, but resigned to the expectation that your day will be what it’ll be, that it is what it is, going through your unfulfilling daily routine with an attitude of merely existing and never getting to that place of special love?

My characters have been beaten up by life, robbed of joy, and buried under a heap of dissatisfaction and disappointment. They see no possibility for change. For them, their best has already come and gone, like Halley’s comet, and will never pass their way again in their lifetimes… But, for the grace of God!

Well, gee whiz, I hate to cut our time short, but I must. Can you walk with me again on Wednesday? I promise to share the second of my three goals, which I’ll interweave throughout this series. So, put your shoes back on if you like, although I hope you’ll leave them off for a little longer. I’ll take sand and salt water over footwear any day!

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.” (Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV)

Please share my website link with your family and friends. I’d greatly appreciate your help launching my writing career by spreading the word about my upcoming novel! Be blessed! If you’d like to check out New Smyrna Beach, please visit: https://www.cityofnsb.com
