In the Blink of an Eye!

I’m so glad you found the TIME to join me oceanside! Even though it’s partly overcast, the powerful sun will punch through the nimbus clouds to sit on her rising throne, then bless us with her golden-yellow smile!

But, about TIME…

As I’ve aged and settled into retirement, I’ve discovered I’m most sensitive to the preciousness of TIME. Nowadays, my greatest complaint is not the gradual and inevitable deterioration of my overall health, but how quickly TIM* is vanishing.

I try not to entertain regrets. It’s futile to look over one’s shoulder to a world that’s long past because we can’t capture that spent TI** and redo it. However, if asked if I had a regret in life, I’d encourage and warn people of all ages to treasure every second, using it wisely, carefully, and advantageously. You will never control that moment again.

Also, every second we burn up reduces our allotted hours and days here on planet Earth. Don’t waste your valuable and fleeting T*** on anyone or anything who doesn’t bring any benefit to you, unless your life is all about selfless ministry to people—family, friends, or strangers—where it’s all about them, not you. Then, I’d argue it was time and energy well spent!
